About LTBa
LTBa is a Denver-based modern residential architecture firm, specializing in custom homes, additions, and renovations throughout Colorado. We create exceptional homes for people who value thoughtful, well-crafted design.
We emphasize natural light, connection to the outdoors, high-quality materials, and spaces that are peaceful, restorative and feel good to be in. We look for design solutions that are creative and elegant--but also functional and useful to our clients.
Our work combines a refined modern aesthetic with Passive House and high-performance building principles to create homes that are both beautiful and technically sophisticated. This approach results in houses with exceptional energy efficiency, superior comfort and indoor air quality, long-term durability, and increased resilience to wildfires.
We approach every project as a collaborative partnership, working closely with homeowners, builders, and consultants to ensure clear communication--and outstanding results.

Principal + Founder
LTBa is led by Luke Taylor-Brown, AIA. Originally from Massachusetts, he grew up spending time outdoors and immersed in the arts. Inspired by natural light and the tactile nature of materials, he looks for ways to connect people to the spaces they inhabit. He is a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD) and brings his passion for sustainability-focused solutions to every project.
After graduating with honors from Syracuse University’s School of Architecture, he worked at award-winning firms in Boston, San Francisco, and Denver before founding LTBa in 2016. He lives in a remodeled Ranch house in Denver with his wife and two children.
